“So me and my wife bought a pair of these for upcoming trip to Australia we are going to be spending a lot of time getting our feet wet and didn't want the standard ugly water shoes that you normally see. Was hesitant to purchase because of the price but very glad we did they actually look like a regular shoe I know a lot of people have said The Rock's gets stuck in the sole of the shoe that this hasn't been a problem for me so far. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 it's because I've had to spend quite a bit of time trying to remove he's extremely sharp plastic pieces inside the shoe that was terribly uncomfortable now that I remove them all is well.”
“Well, I thought, "Hey! These seem pretty cool and have good ratings, I'll try them!". They arrived yesterday (2 days), look better in person, and are SUPER light. Since I have an upcoming kayaking trip, I thought I would slip them on to walk around the house a bit and break them in. By the time I walked across the room and up a flight of stairs, it felt like the tongues were chewing on the tops of my feet! I thought maybe they were folded over, so I slipped them off. Nope. The eyelets were what was digging into my feet, having not been installed correctly (not completely compressed, and some were bent). Needless to say, they went back today.”
“They work well for their purpose, but rocks can get lodged in the rubber soles and dirt/clay get in the mesh, so the shoes need to be rinsed after a tubing trip or walk through mucky water.”
