“I have sweaty feet and I have always hated to wear shoes because of that. I bought these in the hopes that I could keep my feet cool. I was not disappointed. I sweat on the bottom of my feet and most "cool" shoes have breathable fabric on the top and impermeable soles. While these have breathable fabric uppers, they are extra nice in that when I walk, I can feel a breeze on my soles. I never have sweaty feet at the end of a day wearing them. I have been wearing them on several occasions when it happened to rain. I stepped in water and my feet and socks got wet. This is usually semi-catastrophic. With these shoes, my feet were dry within an hour of coming in out of the rain.I have not used them as actual water shoes, but I have no doubt that they function well in that role. I had to send them back twice for being too small and I wish they had half sizes above mens 10, but overall they are great.”
“I really like theses shoes. You'll get sand and lil gravel in them sometimes but nothing major. They are supper comfortable and I prefer them to wearing Sandler any day.”
“took these on the JMT this summer; and they were the perfect camp shoe. Was advised to remove the inserts; but, I wish I hadn't - without the inserts, there is not much preventing sticks and rocks from protruding and "poking" you in the foot!”
