“The shoe fits correctly but is extremely uncomfortable when dry. It worked great for the pool but was awful for anywhere with sand. I wouldn't recommend this shoe for the beach or river.”

I could not find the men's Socone I had bought before so I opted for the Aleader as it looked exactly the same. I wore them only one day on my trip to Costa Rica and had blisters all over. I had ran a couple miles on the beach so I chalked it up to needing to be broken. I wore them again but they were rapidly uncomfortable and I bought flip flops because I could not use them during the trip. I recently tried wearing them again and still no bueno. The seam inside where the tongue transitions is flawed and rubs painfully against your skin. It was more pronounced inside the right shoe than the left which may speak to inconsistency in the quality oversight. Regardless, I will just have to trash them as they are just too painful to wear. Very disappointed!”
