“I was presently surprised by these shoes. They are actually very comfortable and I have plantar fasciitis (sp). The shoes are as described, fit pretty good and work great in the ocean (or wherever). I have nothing bad to say about the shoes or the service from the company.”
“I have wide feet so finding anything worthwhile is hard... I normally wear a 10½-11 EE, but based on some other reviews, I got these in a size 12. Yes, that means there is a lot of room in the toe area, I'd rather that then having my foot crushed form the sides.The stretch laces work well. I have bursitis of the Achilles in one foot, so I need shoes with a heal support to prevent pain--I wore these for a few hours without any pain.Only time I've used these so far was for running into 40ºF river in February as part of a fundraiser Polar Plunge. They protected my feet from the rocky river bed and drained pretty quickly. The insole did trap quite a bit of sand/grit as the water ran out and the soles had several rocks lodged in them that were easy to pry out.They cleaned up nice--rinsed in a sink then put on the drying rack in the dryer for 30-minutes.Looking forward to trying them at the beach this summer.”
