“Always difficult trying to choose flooring based on a few photos on line. The grain, the colour, the 'feel' of it; even the ambience it might create in the room where you intend laying it. The samples heldped a lot, and they arrived promptyly while I was still in the mood Have to say, though, all my doubts were put soundly to sleep. What I hoped to receive actually arrived! Oh, yes. For once, I could rely on the pictures and descriptions, samples and service. If only others could be the same. How brilliant is that? To have my expectations so well managed, I had nothing to grumble about! I delayed writing a review until the flooring had had the requisite time to acclimatise to the conservatory and we had returned from a few days' break. Then, I thought, let's see what it's really like after a little time rather than passing judgement too soon. Have to say - unfortunately - I still don't have anything to grumble about! So, now, I'm really out of sorts. I chose to have the 5mm thick underlay, too, and that was a wise decision. The sound is minimised and, in just the same way that a carpet benefits from a quality underlay in that you can 'feel' the added value, so it is with the Sound Master Gold. Never worth spending out on the flooring of your choice only to scrimp on the underlay. The whole lot arrived when promised, although I did help the driver carry it through the front garden. Doh! But, at least, now, I have something to grumble about! I'm not easily impressed, but Discount Flooring Depot gave me exactly what I wanted at a price I couldn't beat. How impressive is that?”
