With a view to long-distance Audax rides, in particular the 1500km London-Edinburgh-London ride, I wanted a bike that would be comfortable over multi-day rides, lighter-weight than my current bike, and with clearance for 30mm tyres with full mudguards. Having given the Vista a test ride it seemed to tick all the boxes. Now that I have ridden some 2000km+ including 200km, 300km and 400km events I can safely say I made the right choice. The Vista is comfortable and lightweight but also responsive. The riding position and slightly shallower drops give me great confidence in all positions and the Ultegra 12-speed is an absolute dream. Although speed wasn't the main criterion I am also 1-2km/hr faster than on my previous bike.
