My first impression is that the site is very selective and not that many suppliers are linked to it. Presumably its a trade subscription site so you wonder why its not more popular with them.
I was looking forward to reading comments about the range and quality of their service, range of products, whether they have a showroom etc, etc. Instead what you get is a list of service providers many of whom have, in my opinion prematurely, been given my contact details and no doubt will flood me with calls/emails asking me to use their services.”

“Leads Affordable Stairlifts contacted us via your website, their salesman, ( who we later discovered was Freelance & not employed by Leads), was very professional & helpful, answered all our questions & satisfied all our concerns, so, we decided to go ahead, our FIRST MISTAKE!! Asked to pay £1,000.00 deposit up front to a different company's bank account, apparently especially for customer deposits, checked it out prior to paying, same address so went ahead, against my banks advice. SECOND MISTAKE. The company that fitted out Stairlift, (who we are happy with), was employed by Leads Affordable, however, no one bothered to mention this to us, we were only aware it was a different company when asked to make our payment to Stairlifts Direct, Leads had taken/stolen £1,00.00 from us for putting us with a company we had no knowledge of. The owner of this company informed me he is no longer dealing with Leads as he kept arriving at homes where, like in our experience, the customer had no knowledge a different company was supplying & fitting the stairlift. Further, we had arranged to pay the balance via Credit Card however, on presenting our card were informed balance only payable by Bank transfere or Cheque!!”
“I had a response from only one supplier,- Handicare, and decided to go with them. They were prompt in response . I subsequently had a lot of issues ( always the same fault), with the stairlift, but each time they visited the same day to rectify it. The fault on the lift has now been remedied and I am very satisfied.”
