“I had 4 companies approach me following my request to the comparison site. Stenna, BAW, Acorn and Companion.
I went with companion last Friday afternoon as the salesman advised a 4 working days turnaround, which is important as my husband is being discharged soon from hospital. I was expecting the lift to be installed by Friday but today got a call telling me it won't be till the following Tuesday! I now have to negotiate with the hospital to keep my husband in longer as he can't climb stairs and we have no facilities to sleep or wash downstairs. A disappointing outcome which has led to further stress and worry for me, if I didn't have enough on my plate with my very poorly husband . So I can't recommend Companion to keep the salesman's promise, Acorn cancelled 2 appointments with me, BAW appear to be a young inexperienced company and Stenna are very expensive.”
