“The engraving is very light and it’s quite hard to see. However, saying that, on the other hand it’s subtle and classy and not in your face. I had personal engraving too which was done well but also very hard to see. Recommend if you want plain cufflinks with a subtlety.”

Some engraving, like the logo you had, we're best not to engrave too deep. When there is intricate detailing if you engrave too deep you'll not see the detailing and it will just look a complete mess. I hope that makes sense to you.
Also, the product is polished for a nice finish. In a certain synthetic light (indoors) it can reflect. Outside and in a decent / natural light, the engraving will be very clear.
