“I have an air ram, hand held and Gteck hedge cutter, all these products are only suitable as kids toys, all useless, the hedge cutter jams with a 1mm twig, the hand held for the car useless, would not purchase any other products, have friends who mirror my thoughts. back to James Dyson for products that do what they advertise.”

“Terrible I think I must have been talking to a computer Or if it was a person they do not know the products I have a Ht20 Hedge trimmer it's stopped turning, told me to get a new blade It as nothing to do with a new blade ,the cogs have stopped turning Just kept coming back with rubbish responses”

“DO NOT BUY Gtech!! Product not fit for purpose, Terrible customer service, Complete waste of money... Purchased the HT20 hedge trimmer. After just a couple of uses, it constantly gets jammed with the thinnest of twigs - sometimes just leaves?! It is literally stop, start, stop, start, taking hours to do a simple job?! The branch cutter has NEVER worked properly. I used it twice and got so frustrated that it stops spinning as soon as it touched a branch that I gave up trying to persist both times. When I contacted customer service I was told I needed a new cutting blade? I explained I'd only tried using it twice and it failed to spin? Again, I was told the problem was I needed a new blade - which I had to pay for! Due to an item like this only being required for use every 1-2 years, my 2 year warranty had expired when I contacted Gtech for advice on this item I considered faulty?? I purchased a new blade (as advised) and also purchased the Gtech cleaning kit - thinking that might improve the trimmer's performance? It didn't! After changing the blade, surprise, surprise, it does spin! When I removed the blade, the cogs spin on the head but when the blade is in place, the cog doesn't turn the teeth on the blade!! I thought I was going mad, so got my Dad to check it. He agrees that it's faulty and not fit for purpose... We contacted Gtech again. Best they can offer is 10% off all replacement parts that I purchase again?? Laughable... We requested that we send it back to them so their technical department can take a look? No, was the answer!! I will NEVER purchase another Gtech product (I also have their hand-held vacuum, which also has issues) I'd rather pay slightly more and get a quality product that actually works!! Such a disappointment from a Company which constantly advertises as being one of the best in the market 😡”

“We have a Gtech vacuum and hand held vacuum for over 3 years now and works very efficiently. On Friday the plastic flywheel on the hand held broke into a dozen pieces. Phoned Gtech and for £9.99 was told a new part would be sent including p&p. This morning , Monday at 8am a whole new chassis arrived. I put in the battery and the dust container , 30 seconds , and we're back working. Full marks to Gtech.”

“Amazing after sales service! I sent a message to Gtec on Sunday afternoon, 20 minutes later I received a reply saying that new parts would be sent. Today, Monday, the parts arrived at 1.50pm…….. incredible! THIS SERVICE COULD NOT BE BETTERED!! Thank you Gtec, best service EVER!!!!”

“I purchase my Gtech sweeper just a year ago and have had nothing but problem, first the batteries failed to hold charge then needed help as the sweeper sounded as though it was full of stones. Weldone to the young lady who DID solve the problem. Then the handle started to fall apart so replaced it then carpet strip breaks. all in all I have so many problems I asked who did the inspection of these items because from where I stood there was no inspection just put it together and send it out.”

“Bought both upright and hand held vacuums from main distribution depot at Worcester 4 years ago. After 3 years the upright had several problems which we emailed gtech and the after service team said they were unable to help. Then today our handheld vacuum has stopped working. These products are expensive to buy but no aftercare. Will not be buying again.”

“Brought Pro stick cleaner 2019 less than 18 months in battery developed a fault , contacted customer support and they agreed to send a new one less than 18 months again battery packed up ! again contacted GTECH best they could offer was 20% off new battery which i had to accept for the machine to function . NOT HAPPY AT ALL. Conclusion GTECH not fit for purpose as it would appear the battery is of very poor quality and at £80 a time i would suggest anyone avoid GTECH at all cost . I will not be buying any of the GTECH products nor shall i recommend in fact i feel duty bound to do the exact opposite . VERY POOR PRODUCT>”

“Bought direct from GTECH as I thought this would be best. The SW22 sweeper sent arrived next day, which was great. But it didn't charge up. On contacting GTECH I now have to wait up to 2 weeks for a replacement charger to see if this corrects the issue...way too long to have to wait for a part that may not resolve the problem. Online chat seems to only produce a corporate response so very poor”

“I bought the air ram multi and it broke after 1 use. Gtech arranged an exchange which arrived damaged. They arranged an uplift but are now refusing a refund as they have lost the return but their courier didn’t provide any proof of uplift. Absolutely disgusted by their service. Now have the stress of raising a dispute with my credit card. Will never use them again.”

“Bought HT04 used 3 times in 3 years needed new battery told obsolete . What a waste,machine is like new but cannot use .Have bought a Ryobi which uses the same battery for all its tools and has done since 1996.”

“Have purchased 2 HT01 hedge trimmers and 1 HT04 hedge trimmer and all the batteries have faded to the point of being unusable. Contacted GTECH to be told none of the batteries are available, leaving me with 5 HT01 batteries, 2 HT04 batteries and 3 unusable hedge trimmers. Be careful not to purchase any rechargeable hedge trimmers if you expect a reasonable life usage.”

“Compared to previous hoover brand cordless the air ram mk 2 is amazing, picks up dirt on a par with my corded Dyson. Yes the dust container is small and needs regular emptying but it is so easy to take out and empty, not an issue for me at all. So far really impressed and would recommend.”

“UNRELIABLE PRODUCT, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AVOID!!! Had I have been writing this review 2 years ago I would, like others, have been saying how good my new vacuum is (gtech air ram). 2 years later this isn't the case. It's had 2 major faults, the latest of which means it won't turn on. I am now 2 months out of warranty. Their customer service helpline is terrible, no advice as to check anything, just straight to selling me spare parts which may or may not solve the problem!! Meanwhile I spent £300 on a top of the range vacuum cleaner 2 years ago that I cannot afford to take a risk on purchasing parts that may not solve the issue. Looking through forums this seems to be very common. AVOID!!!!”
