“I think we started using your fish plates about 40 years ago. They were the ones with the raised rims that you used to get from Limoges. We added the pasta fish plates some time later. We use the dinner plates with the spice and herb designs for non-fish meals and finally we got the cheese plate designs for occasions when we have longer meals. We use the small vegetable design plates at breakfast. In the last few years added the duck, hare and vegetable pasta plates. We probably prefer the ones with vegetables around the rim for pasta when we are on our own.”
