Nigel O'Hara review Appalling. Worst experience ever as a customer. Perhaps even a scam/criminal website, but I suppose I might get my money back eventually, so I'll wait a while longer before accusing them of that. Please listen to these reviews and stay well clear of Nigel O'Hara - http://www.nigelohara.com. I'm posting this on every review site I can find to add to the mounting number of reviews and keep potential customers from being burned as I have been. Prepare to have to liaise with your banking company and the Trading Standards Agency if you deal with them. Great prices, though... Of course, I could post a picture of a new Ferrari I didn't have, and sell it to you for only £10k, and you'd be happy as Larry with the deal until it never showed up and you couldn't talk to me to get your money back! Here's how my transaction has progressed so far for anyone interested enough to read my frustrated ramblings. I ordered a ride-on electric car on 6th August 2015 for my son for his birthday in October. The item was listed as "in stock", and the money taken from my account on 10th August. On 12th August, I thought I'd get in touch as it'd been nearly a week and I hadn't had any dispatch confirmation. This was where I first ran into trouble as I noticed there was no telephone contact, only an online customer service request that says they'll respond within 24hours (or 48 hours, or if not, whenever...). 4 days later, I still hadn't heard back and was becoming concerned, so I telephoned their actual shop. They were very unhelpful, refused to put me through to anyone who could help, and insisted I continued to wait for an online response. Another 4 days elapsed, and I heard back on 18th August that their supplier hadn't delivered it yet. It wasn't in stock at all then, was it? My son's birthday still wasn't for weeks, so I wasn't in a huge rush, but asked them to confirm that their supplier actually had the item. After another 7 days, on 25th August, they said that in fact, their supplier didn't have the item at all. They offered an exchange or refund. Fine, at least it's over, I thought. I obviously opted for the refund as I was by now exceptionally wary of the company, and severely put off by their atrocious lack of customer services. More negative reviews were also starting to surface online. It took another 3 days before I received a message saying "refund completed". The thing is, it wasn't, and as of writing this, I am still waiting for the promised refund. I chased it on 11th September, and again today, on 20th September, but have heard nothing back. Still the funds haven't been returned to my bank account. I have got in touch with BBC Watchdog, the Trading Standards Agency, and my bank in an attempt to try to retrieve the £137.14 they are currently earning interest on. I've learned my lesson and will always check review sites very carefully before rushing into a purchase from any online company I haven't used before. A real shame as I like to put my trust in people and help out new companies where I can, but there you go. Reputation comes first from now on. Thanks for reading. Go and pay a bit more for whatever it was you wanted from a local shop or a fulfilled-by-Amazon sale. Sad.

HA HA What a joke! How does a company like this exist?............ Well they hold onto your money and make interest on it. They are a small jewelers , but seem to sell much more like TV's etc. I didn't receive my purchase, now chasing for my money. They don't have a phone number, nor do they reply to your emails. If you want to chance it by saving a few quid, don't bother. I'm not one for going by what everyone reviews, but Nigel O'Hara definitely deserve a very poor review, I wouldn't even give them a star. If you take on this so called company...........send my regards.

Never buy from this site, I ordered a camera the next day I had an email to say the order is cancelled as they didn't have it.. So I asked for a refund and chose a different one paid again, the next day same thing happened, got an email to say they didn't have that one either.. Asked for a refund on that one as well, two weeks later and I still haven't had my money back for either, and the support tickets are a joke just automated pointless information.

DO NOT PART WITH YOUR CASH! Website looks very professional but the stock is rarely available yet they take your money and then it appears you wait months trying to get a refund! Their telephone number is for their shop and they won't deal with online queries. I think they use people's money to keep their jewelery business afloat! STAY WELL AWAY!

Ordered an item, only when I contacted them did they tell me that they couldn't fulfill the order. The item I had ordered was still for sale on the site but at a much higher price.

Bought a TV for £600, way cheaper than elsewhere, a month ago and have been given the run around since. "It's showing order sent and complete" (when it was showing 'dropshipped'.. As it did from the day I ordered it!). Latest is that they've managed to cancel at their "suppliers" (funny that, since they'd said it was already shipped). Trying to get a refund and being ignored. Truely the worst online experience ive ever had. Feel scammed. I guess what they say is true.. "if something appears too good to be true, it probably is" . Ended up buying the TV from Currys at the normal price and it arrived in less than 24 hours ????

Lured onto their site by the prospect of an excellent price for a Citizen Eco watch ,I ignored all the reviews ,and have payed the price .Ordered the watch on the 27 July ,the money was taken in August and then when it reached September and not a sign of the watch ,I decided to cancel the order .With no response from them ,I ended up being forced to complain through Paypal ,which did the trick .But my advice is if you want the watch i wanted, go to another site which has it for the SAME price and is much more on the ball and helpful...this is a company to avoid at all costs .Never again shall i use them or even look at their site ....Appalling service ....and I bet they know it and really dont care

Took two months to deliver my order which had an original estimate of two weeks! Every time I contacted them they blamed the manufacturer of the item for the delay and the order would arrive very soon. I then directly contacted the wholesale distributor for the item who told me that they had plenty of stock and that they had not received an order from Nigel O'Hara. The distributor actually chased the order up for me. Shortly afterwards the item was shipped but the tracking number provided by Nigel O'Hara was invalid. I am sure that if I hadn't taken such direct action I would still be waiting.

Nightmare getting my order or refund. The 1st time I made an order , I waited over a month for the item to arrive, the second time I requested a refund after waiting over six weeks to receive the item and the process is very slow , a week after the refund request I am still waiting. I would recommend shopping elsewhere, the customer service is the worst I have ever encountered.

Well after seeing the low price of a coffee machine i wanted I took the plunge and unfortunately like everyone else received a email the day after to advise that the item i had ordered wasn't available, despite the item still showing as "Available" on their website. I confronted them through their email support system and they responded with extremely poor English totally glossing over my concerns. The item i paid for is still listed as Available despite telling them that this is misleading customers. I fear it is a ploy to obtain your card details and money however I may be wrong.

We ordered an item in April fromNigel o Hara . via the Internet. amounting to almost £70. Today 1st. September, I have requested a full refund, as we still have not received the item. Why is this company allowed to trade? I have been reading all the Negative reports about them, same story as ours. On Trustpilot it is one after another I now have just received an e-mail to say that we will be refunded, but could take a few days to go into our Bank! Lets hope hey do refund.

My experience mirrors many of the other negative reviews. In short, Nigel O'Hara used me as a free line of credit on a high value item. This is worrying as it means their business is probably struggling to raise finance at competitive rates, and may even be playing these tricks to have enough cash flow to pay its own staff. Anyway, more detail of my experience below. I bought a 65 inch TV on 1 July for c.£1,400 - which was labelled as "in stock" - and in doing so took some comfort in the overall high rating of this company on trustpilot (without delving in to the detail reviews - a mistake I won't make again). While Nigel O'Hara took my c.£1,400 immediately, the TV was not dispatched. After much chasing, I was told after 14 days that "we are still working with our suppliers to get your TV", and given the explicit option to cancel my order. At this point I cancelled the order and sourced the TV elsewhere. Obtaining the refund was then a tortuous task. I was given the runaround from Nigel O'Hara - whose replies seemed to be an exercise in extreme politeness e.g. "Sincere apologies for the delay we will pass your request on to our finance team...", with no telephone number or offer to discus in person. As I pointed out, all Nigel O'Hara needed to do was to log in to their PayPal account and click on "Issue Refund", and so the delays were not justifiable. In the end, I secured a refund on 4 August, by raising a formal dispute through the dispute resolution centre at PayPal. In hindsight I wish I'd escalated this sooner, rather than wasting my time asking Nigel O'Hara for a refund more than once. One final thought. Nigel O'Hara seem to carefully control their rating on another site called Trustpilot. If you have a negative experience would be worth sharing it here as well.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!! I bought a picture from this company, which arrived a month after the promised 5 day delivery. When it arrived the glass was broken and despite numerous emails on their online contact I have never recieved a reply. You cannot ring unless you know an extension as it is automated. I even contacetd them by mail but never recieved a reply. I got the picture repaired at my own costs. Beware stay away from this company, buy at your peril (and expense).

Similar experience to others. Ordered a tv and waited and waited. Their live support is a total joke !. It is an email response system, which if your fortunate they respond in 2-3 days. Usual story - the tv you ordered is discontinued or not in stock... however you can have a lesser specced model for more money !!!. When I didn't accept this I was offered an other alternative which was £25 more that advertised on their web site. When I tried to order the cheaper advertised one I was told it was out of stock. How convenient!!!!!. Their customer service is diabolical and practises very, very questionable. Like others I still await a refund. DO NOT EVEN GO ON THEIR WEBSITE.

NIGEL O'HARA INTEREST FREE LOAN SCAM . LIKE MANY OTHERS ON HERE PURCHASED A SAMSUNG LED TV ,THEY TOOK THE MONEY AND THEN CAME THE EXCUSES AND DELAYS .iN THE END I GOT MY MONEY BACK BUT ONLY AFTER O'HARA HAD FREE USE OF MY CASH TO FUND THEIR BUSINESS. HOW IT WORKS .O'HARA ADVERTISES EXPENSIVE GOOD'S LED TVS ETC AT CHEAPER THAN AVERAGE PRICES ,,"BUT "THEY DON'T STOCK THE GOODS . 20 OR 30 CUSTOMERS PAY SEVERAL HUNDRED POUNDS BUT O'HARA'S NEVER ORDER THE TVS . INSTEAD THEY KEEP FOBBING YOU OFF WITH EVER CHANGING DELIVERY DATES AND IN THE END YOU GET FED UP WAITING AND ASK FOR YOUR MONEY BACK ,BY WHICH TIME THEY HAVE FUNDED THEIR BUSINESS WITH YOUR HARD EARNED CASH FOR WEEKS / MONTHS " INTEREST FREE" . THE OTHER CATCH IS TO SELL OTHER CHEAPER ITEMS ( JEWELLERY ) AND DELIVERY THEM TO OBTAIN GOOD FEEDBACK RATINGS . REMEMBER THE OLD SAYING IF ITS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE ,WELL IT IS IN NIGEL O'HARA'S CASE . IF YOU HAVE BEEN SWINDLED OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED CASH ,NOT RECEIVED THE GOODS AND WAITED WEEKS / MONTHS FOR YOUR MONEY BACK YOU MAY WANT TO REPORT THEM TO THEIR LOCAL TRADING STANDARDS OR EVEN THE ON LINE FRAUD SITE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like most people on here, purchased an item because of the low price and it still never arrived after 2 months! Was in constant contact but i get getting fobbed off with we have a supplier issue and it will be with you by the end if the week. Finally requested a refund and will probably have to wait longer than they said for my money back. Absoloutley useless company, communication was terrible.
