“I had an appointment on a Wednesday afternoon, with Jane I believe? She was great, picked out several styles of dresses for me to try. I got it down to two choices, and then tried them both on again. There was no hurry. I decided on my dress, which was beautiful, and something I wouldn’t have chose from the picture of a model wearing it. She said to have a think about it if I wanted, and could phone and reserve it as they only have 1 each of the different sizes. The dress fit perfectly, so no alterations are needed. I went home and researched it some more. I made up my mind that I didn’t want to lose the dress to someone else. Saturday, I phoned and asked to reserve it, and went and tried it on again in the shop. This time was with Melita herself. The service is amazing, and friendly. I tried a sale hat on too, which I love, and purchased them both. The information received about dry cleaning etc, was really good. It’s a great place to buy that special outfit.”

“Such a good shopping experience. I reserved an outfit the day before my appointment. I met Melita who was very good and had an eye for what I had in mind. There is a fabulous selection for Mother of the bride/groom outfits along with accessories. Before I arrived I had almost decided on my reserved outfit, however with another outfit that Melita suggested I was spoilt for choice. I decided to go for a coffee and look at the photos that Melita took. I am not familiar with the area but Melita suggested Basil and Blue a few minutes walk away. I then had time to decide and went with the outfit Melita suggested and I am absolutely delighted with it. I will also be buying the hatinator which was suggested. I would highly recommend this business, as it is not rushed and is not pressurised, just very good customer service.”

“Had a great time trying on wedding outfits. The lady who assisted us was fantastic and helped me to find an outfit that I wouldn’t have found myself. We were given plenty of time and help and no pressure. Two out of three of us bought dresses and hatinators. Can’t wait to wear mine at a wedding in May. My only comment would be that they should make it clearer when you buy that you cannot get a refund, just a credit or an exchange. I only read this on the receipt afterwards.”
