“My son was able to speak to a therapist soon after our first enquiry. He chose based on the therapist's biog, which made him feel more comfortable at his first session. His sessions were virtual and very convenient to attend and access. He felt better from his first session and felt as if he could improve his mental health after this first contact. He was able to begin to think differently about his mental health after speaking with his therapist. After a few more sessions he was beginning to feel more confident about his own wellbeing. Speaking with Ellie gave him a different perspective to his thinking and strategies to move forward. I was so glad to know he was accessing effective support. When he was having a bad day or tricky time, he knew he could schedule a session in with Ellie to reflect and strengthen his mental health. I would recommend the service and Ellie to any other parents.”
“Our 7yr old son has ASC, SPD and significant speech delay. He was non verbal until age 4yrs and learnt first to communicate via PECS and Makaton. He had very limited speech and his comprehension and working memory caused a real problem at school.
Emma was absolutely amazing during our initial consultation. Emma was not at all phased by what she was hearing and she had some really brilliant ideas about how to start the journey with him. All questions were focussed on our son and it felt like a very positive conversation, which is rare when you’re constantly focusing on all of the things your child can’t do!
We had a private SaLT previously but she was not suitable to continue after compulsory school age (focussing on PECS) and the NHS Therapists working with him were discharging him due to their internal policies on compulsory school age children (leaflets are the substitute for actual therapy here!!)
Emma has made a very real and material difference to our son. He has made massive strides of progress, not just in terms of his ability to communicate but his willingness to try. He is so happy to see Emma each week for his short sessions and the games and activities Emma designs are all highly motivating for him. Emma has effortlessly built an incredible bond with our son and it’s a joy to watch him engage and enjoy his time with her. He never refuses or shows signs of disengaging. The resources Emma provides are brilliant for us here at home and we feel well supported in carrying out those interventions and feeding back to Emma in between sessions.
Emma is always just at the end of the phone/email and is very responsive. Emma has a very genuine interest in children with ASC and clearly lots of experience. Emma has a very bespoke and child centred approach, there is no “one size fits all” approach with her. The focus of the work is very much dictated by our sons emerging needs.
I can only assume she uses witchcraft and wizardry to get this level of compliance from our son!

“We've seen a huge change over the 6 sessions working with Claire. From an anxious child who was reluctant to do anything out of her comfort zone to actively seeking out new activities. My daughter very quickly built a rapport with Claire. She was very skilful at picking out areas of interest and using these as a way of engaging my daughter and building themes around them. “From the outset, we have found Bethanie friendly, approachable and engaging.
I was initially concerned that an online therapy environment would not be as engaging as face-to-face but Bethanie made a real effort to learn about what interests our child had and customise the session to include aspects that he found particularly engaging.
The sessions had clear objectives and included both practical speech support and therapy along with fun aspects such as mini-games.
The assessments and session reports have always been clear and detailed and the associated resources to support further development at home have been fun and engaging for our child to complete.

“We have been working with Gillian over the last few weeks. She’s so friendly and gets the kids to open up through play and art. My daughter is 10 and immediately took to this way of therapy!
