However, Austen's works were meant to be read aloud and (disappointingly for some) you have ceased to include readings of chosen chapters amongst your events. I am aware that it is difficult to find people who can do it properly. If you would care to audition me, I would read anything of Austen's at an event in the future without any remuneration. I am convinced that this would encourage other 'able' readers to volunteer for the same.”
