“The kit is fine if you are a big lad or lass because it fits rather than stretching to fit. The reason I have rated it as 4 is the durability is not as good as it has been in the past. FLAB have excellent customer service so sort issues out quickly. The fabric is great and holds it colour well, even after many washes. My issue is the stitching around the zip pocket pulls apart quite quickly. It is the same fail in the stitching at the same point each time - at the top of the zip which then becomes fiddly to unzip and close again. I overcome it by not using the pocket(s) which means no stow pocket, so no point.”

“I’m a keen cyclist. I commute, do a bit of road riding, a lot of mountain biking, and I’m entirely the wrong shape for it. I’ve been buying compromise bun shirts for decades now. As I’m into my mid 50’s the compromise gets less beneficial.... to get shirts broad enough, they are always too long in the leg ( many good short manufacturers son even go up to my size...). The bibs I have bought from FLAB are sensational. They fit beautifully and I now don’t wear any of the other pairs I have. I recently done a 3 day, 400km charity ride and my biggest fear during training rides was that my undercarriage wouldn’t survive ( I was confident about legs and lungs...) with 2 new pairs of FLAB bibs and some good chamois cream, everything went well and I enjoyed the whole event. Anyway, cracking product, well designed, and I love the humour and ethos of the company !”
