“I like the jacket, and ordered my size based on the size chart . To my surprise, it runs small. I contacted the store and they “will do an exchange- buyer pays for return postage”. Since I live in the US, shipping back to get a different size is too costly. Guess I’m just stuck! Lessons learned!”

Just to explain our pricing, we're a smallish company and passionate about the ethical credentials of the factories we work with. Those two factors mean we can't get the same prices as other bigger and perhaps less ethically responsible companies. We hope this explanation helps and in any case we thank you for your support. “My experience was good. I received the goods on time, but unfortunately I did not think they were value for money and I returned them for a refund. This was processed with excellent speed and I have the monies back in my account.
I have since bought an endura jacket and gore bib. These feel better quality and are about the same price.
In short the experience was good, but the goods were not what I expected for the cost

Hi Neale, thanks for the (mixed!) reviews. We appreciate you taking the time out although of course we're surprised you had a less than wonderful experience and opinion of our kit! In terms of pricing i just wanted to reiterate that we only use ethical European factories and of course also because we're a relatively small company that will tend to make us slightly more expensive than the bigger companies. We're genuinely surprised that you queried the quality of Fat Lads kit however as long as you're sorted and can cycle in comfort and confidence than that's the main thing. Kr, Mandy
