“Have had this subscription for myself and my Dad (we live in different states) for a year now and we both are huge fans. It is something that we can do together online or over facetime and it's been a great experience. It has opened our horizons to new distilleries that we would have otherwise never known of. If you're thinking about going the Blind Barrels fam, do it. You won't be disappointed. They consistently put out a great product from the box, the website, and their customer service.”

“My wife got this for me as a Christmas present and I will look forward to it all year. The first tasting was a blast and the samples were quality and plentiful. This is such a great idea to have the opportunity to taste great whiskeys that you normally wouldn’t and a such fun way to sample them blindly. I would recommend it to any whiskey/bourbon fan.”

“I look forward to receiving the tasting kits and I am never disappointed. The samples are very generous so if any of them are particularly good, I get to enjoy more than just a little taste. I especially like that I am able to try many different types of whiskey from distilleries that I otherwise would not be able to try and if I want a bottle, I am able to get it. I can't recommend Blind Barrels strongly enough to anyone who enjoys whiskey and likes trying samples that aren't available easily otherwise. Finally, I am not always able to join in on the live streams but have enjoyed those that I have been able to join.”

“If your new to whiskey this is a great way to get started. You can watch the video that they make for every release as you're doing your tasting. Which helps get you started on what flavors to look for. They send great whiskey in the samples and it's fun trying to figure out what the whiskey is. I also like that you can purchase a bottle/bottles if you really like a certain sample. I'm on my second year of subscribing and I look forward to every release.”

“Not only am I learning about whiskey and the art behind it, the tasting kits are a great way to get together with friends and spend quality time sipping and comparing notes. I tell everyone I know about Blind Barrels! Even struck up a conversation about it with a guy at the liquor store while looking for a favorite bottle:)”

“I’ve really enjoyed my Blind Barrels subscription. While I don’t have any sort of sophisticated palate, I’ve been able to learn what types of bourbons I prefer and have even shared the experience with a virtual “whiskey hour” with some friends and colleagues. Blind Barrels gets a strong recommendation from me!”

“Such a fun idea! My partner and I love trying different whiskeys and this is a fun game, if you will. We were very surprised at the quality of some of these surprise bottles. Some brands we had never heard of, some so expensive we would noy have bought! Highly recommend for scotch, bourbon, rye and whiskey drinkers.”

“I received a subscription to Blind Barrels as a Christmas gift. The first shipment came immediately and the sample packaging is such that a bottle would be almost impossible to break. We participated in the live blind reveal on a zoom call which was a great experience. The Blind Barrel team are very knowledgeable about whiskey and so are many of their members. I found the live reveal to be a fun experience, but if you just want to do the tasting yourself or with friends there is a QR code included on the samples that will tell you what you are drinking.”

“BB started with a clever idea - quarterly sets of "4 blind whiskey samples", all taken from micro whiskey producers, thus assuring that tasters will be introduced to products they've never seen or tasted. Then they implemented that plan over 3+ years very well in their sample selections & support, including live on-line (Zoom) tastings/reveals with BB staff & customers. And they've backed it up with the option for reasonably priced full bottle buys for the sampled whiskeys. As a very happy customer for 3 years I see BBs as the perfect complement to my local bourbon club tastings & annual distillery visits/tours/tastings.”

“I purchased a subscription for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. He likes the wide variety and that it's fun to try bourbons he normally wouldn't. He has also done tastings with friends and it's been a big hit. The bottles are a nice size and customer service has been great.”
