“Working with Oliver, Lisa, and Kirsty on multiple projects has been an absolute pleasure. Aegaea can provide extensive information in good timing and can also provide further information to help us with our clients through the planning stages in relation to assessing Flood Risk.”
“Tricky assignment with tight deadline & over bank holiday so hard to get responses from outside agencies. Delivered on time & provided evidence we needed. Many thanks”
“Joao and the team at Aegaea were fantastic from start to finish, extremely knowledgeable and organised, with brilliant communication throughout. The flood mapping they did for our property was detailed and we used it successfully to challenge the EA floodmaps. Thank you.”
“Very helpful and knowledgeable team. and very reasonable price. I wanted to get the FRA report urgently and they delivered it in less than a week. Super. Will highly recommend them”
“I can not praise this company enough, the service provided was excellent. I had blocked drains in the conservatory for 3 weeks, I had 2 other companies out to assess and clear the drains but they were unable to clear the problem.rang
Drainage Consultants, The Consultants Customer Service was efficient, informative. The next morning the technicians attended promptly and solved the problem. They were very professional and explained the procedure. Excellent overall service.”
“Great to work with Aegaea. They responded well to the brief and tight timescales. They worked with us to achieve these with a good set of information required for a planning application.”
“I was very impressed how quickly Douglas responded to my initial request.
After 2 weeks from me agreeing for you to do the FRA and DIA I was asked to find out if Scottish Water had given permission for our plot to be connected to the foul sewer, I think you should have asked me this sooner.
The report produced by Jack Allen looks to be good, but I will only be 100% happy if the planning is approved based on the findings of the report. I am reasonably confident they will as long as we implement the mitigation measures.
The day I was sent the report from Jack he implied that on the same day he submitted a request to Scottish Water for approval for the excess surface water from our plot to be allowed to be discharged into the combined drainage system. It would have been good if this could have taken place sooner. I did ask how long this process may take but I did not receive a reply.
Overall happy with the service, but my final opinion will only be clear once the National Park Planners give approval or not.
Thanks Phillip Sheard”
“There was a major flood issue raised by the LLFA, Harrow Council on the project site identified as Flood Risk Zone 3A. After commissioning a detailed flood Risk assessment process, and finally through an appeal the development on site was allowed to convert and extend the building into three flats of two bedrooms and a study room each, by the Planning Inspectorate subject to very complex drainage conditions to discharge. Kirsty was instrumental in preparing, supporting the appeal application and technically leading the appeal meeting that resulted in winning the case in my favour against the Harrow council.
As the conditions to discharge were very complex, I was aware to engage AEGAEA, as they are among the best flood and drainage firms in the UK.
Kirsty, Daniel and Oliver from AEGAEA are simply brilliant and very efficient. They took lots of stress away from me as there were many intricate points and complex criteria that came along with the drainage conditions. Team AEGAEA always interacted with me to explain and understand my view point while finalizing the solutions. They in due course successfully developed the strategy and cost-effective solutions to discharge those conditions within timelines. Kirsty in addition successfully guided and supported the team including chartered structural engineers, and chartered architects to prepare related designs, solutions and appropriate responses to the LLFA.
Well done! I have absolutely no doubt and would highly recommend anyone using AEGAEA. They not only saved my big investment but also fulfilled my dreams in this adventure.”
“I live in Scotland and SEPA (Environment Agency) has applied a flood assessment to my property through their flood map, that I find impossible to accept. It adversely affects my ability to insure my home. Aegaea carried out an independent flood assessment for me that concludes my home is not likely to be inundated with water from the adjoining river even during a 1 in 1000 years event. What more does anyone need to know!”
“Very friendly and professional advice, would never make me feel that they were trying to get off the phone to me even when I didn’t instruct them yet and was getting information. Very impressed with the report and speed.”
