I was looking for a replacement for my Sony Cybershot camera that had stopped working after several years of use. I looked at several alternatives online, but was still undecided after reading lots of reviews. One phone call to a very helpful chap at Wilkinson Cameras enabled me to choose exactly the right one for my needs. I needed a camera small enough to slip into a pocket, good zoom for taking wildlife photos, ideally good macro for taking insect photos and the ability to use on manual as well as auto. Living in a rural area, I miss so many great photo opportunities at times when I can't carry lots of kit with me, so having a small but versatile camera to hand is a must. The Panasonic TZ95 fitted the bill and was available as a bundle with case, memory card and mini tripod, which meant I got even better value for my money. It arrived the next day and, after patiently waiting for the battery to charge up, I took a few quick sample photos to check the camera was working ok. I was absolutely delighted with the ease of use of the camera and the quality of photos it produced. Although you can use it completely on auto, there are lots of different really useful settings so I'm going to make sure I spend time familiarising myself with the manual so that I can make the most of everything this little marvel can do.
