A great way to get away from it all! Cruising up the River Severn with just the lovely scenery and wild life to fill your mind. Great excursions en route - pretty Upton-upon-Severn, Tewkesbury Abbey, Worcester Cathedral, fascinating Stourport-on Severn, a Steam Railway trip, and of course Gloucester Docks, walking tour of Gloucester, and Painswick, Rococo Gardens. The food was very good. I especially liked the fresh fruit platter which preceded each breakfast, and the wide variety of dishes prepared for lunch and dinner each day. The cabins on the boat were rather small, as might be expected for the size of boat. The showers were very efficient, plenty of hot water. The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble.
