We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise on the "Edward Elgar", in no small part due to the friendly and helpful staff/crew. No effort was spared to cater for our dietary requirements and the food was excellent. Excursions were superb, the only criticism being that we could perhaps have done with a little more time at one or two venues. When heavy rainfall led to an exceptional rise in the river level preventing the passage through locks, alternative arrangements were made which were much appreciated.
