Firstly, it's a great bit of kit. I purchased two (one piCade console and one full arcade machine) as a project for my son and I. The builds were challenging - but through a mix of the online videos and the poster based instructions we got there and had a lot of fun along the way. RetroPie is a fab distro and comes pre-installed with a number of decent emulators and once the piCade HAT drivers are installed you are off. There is one area of criticism that I do have and that's the power buttons. On both units the Power Button broke. Now, I know the view could be that excessive force was applied when attaching the wires - but that wasn't the case. The instructions for the wiring of the button is not very clear which resulted in a number of detach and re-attaches that eventually depressed the terminals back into the button rendering it useless. I had to purchase a few replacement buttons which worked perfectly. Aside from that - both kinds of piCade are really cool and great fun both during build and operation. Most of the components are great quality and the overall presentation of the kits is just superb.
