I bought the 1.8m2 deluxe decking kit with the view that me and my sister (not regular DIY’ers) could have a go. How hard could it be?! The joists, boards and fixing kit were delivered much earlier than expected which was a nice surprise and when 5 of the boards were found to be missing in transit, Savoy arranged for a replacement delivery straight away. So, how did it go? We had a drill, drill bit and screwdriver bit, spirit level, followed the online instructions, laid out the joists and away we went. It turned out so well. Pic below! Hopefully inspires some budding DIY’ers to think twice about paying someone to do it for you. Added job satisfaction is a bonus!
