Great to finally find somewhere with a range of basses in stock. Even better to find them well set up and then to have bass specific expertise on their range. This is nothing like your ordinary shopping experience, it was lovely from start to finish with a wealth of knowledge and very helpful service. Very happy with my new Westbury double bass. I also bought a Realist Sound Clip. I previously had the original copper Realist. Its not for the faint hearted, especially at this price, as compared to the original it requires a lot more experimentation. With it within the C of the bridge, on the E side at about 2.00 o'clock, using rubber between bridge and pickup, run through high impedance DI, I am getting a great sound, much more detailed than the original Realist - too detailed without the rubber or when in the wrong position.Much trickier than the original, but certainly a better sound rewards experimentation and perseverance.
