This is my second Para Ted; my first one, bought earlier in the year and known as PT for short, has been on many adventures. He met a 90 year old Para veteran on a coach going down to Bournemouth and who regaled PT with tales of his time in the Paras in the early 1950s. He has made a number of jumps (well, throws) to earn his wings and has also travelled in a bosun's chair. He has driven a (small) tank down a slightly sloping garden, been a passenger in a (small) motorcycle sidecar and he has a small armoury of mainly Action Man weapons. He also has his own hand-made beret, complete with badge which naturally he wears with pride and a huge wardrobe of bespoke clothes - his favourite being tartan trousers and waistcoat and a blue velvet jacket. PT's new friend will be expecting to be joining in all of the fun and will, of course, have to earn his wings in the same way as PT.
Para Ted is the perfect size for carting round in a bag when out and about.
