And I was right, it really was painless! I got a text back and started the process on WhatsApp messenger. When I could speak to David, he was SO nice. No judgement or awkwardness. He really understood and really wanted to help me.
Long story short, I'm now on the best repayment plan, I didn't know I could get and I'm now finally starting to live my life again.
