AVOID AT ANY COST.They assigned us Lavish Chauffeur taxi who showed up 30 min late ,without a car seat for the baby, even though we had paid for one. The driver would not even meet us to the gate. Eventually we decided to take the tube for the safety of our baby, but the company would not refund us. This is not a legitimate company, more of a scam

Avoid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This company outsources drivers from other companies. So you are paying 20% more but the probability that service would be bad is the same as just picking a random minicab online. I booked a transfer 4 days in advance, received email with confirmation and driver’s details on the same day, great! The night I landed I switched my phone on to find several email from several unknown taxi companies with booking confirmations and cancellation. Also received several messages from drivers… very confusing. Finally I received a message from a driver asking me to call him when the luggage is collected saying he’s waiting for me. Although it looks extremely unprofessional to give my contact details to several taxi companies and not even bother to send an email saying your booking has had some issues, but at least I felt relieved, I have a driver. Little did I know :) I call the driver as promised when luggage was collected, he told me to go to row E of parking 2, where I spent 15 minutes waiting for him at 2.30 am in Luton. But ok, whatever, I just want to get to a cab and sleep now, so he comes, I get in and he asks me to give him £5 in cash for parking (just fyi I’ve paid £91 to taxicode online for all inclusive service). So I explain to the gentleman that when I entered into a contract with taxicode for its services, there was no mention of extra charges (no mention of third parties being involved either) so I believe it will be only fair if 2 companies sort it out between themselves. I also mentioned to the driver that he made me wait 15 minutes, which for a pre-booked service it’s a bit too much and he should be ashamed asking me for parking charges on top of that. He got really angry and tells me he’ll leave me in the middle of the Highway where we were by then at 3 am. So to cut long story short I had to call the manager of the company this driver belonged to, obviously there was no support from taxicode in this hour. I can confidently say it was by far the worst experience I have had with a pre-booked taxi service and I’ll stick back to the good old Uber, it’s cheaper, they don’t ask for extra money and they arrive quicker.

Do not even think of using this company. They didn't turn up, so we had to make alternative arrangements. Apparently the driver did eventually arrive but 45 mins late. As far as Taxicode are concerned, that is acceptable and therfore charged the full amount. A complete scam. Avoid like the plague.

Dreadful! Booked and paid in advance for a minivan for my family, timing was crucial. Didn't come, didn't tell me, had to call and find out and havne't refunded my 75 pounds. There is a word for what they are and my next call will be to the police and the courts.

Basically, fraudsters. 3 days of lies, and then a 10:30am taxi cancelled at midnight the night before. Was given the name and number of a taxi firm that doesn't exist, amongst the full suite of absolute lies from these clowns.

Paid for a VIP meet and Greet service. The driver called to say to meet him in the short stay parking because he didn't want to pay for parking. He was late and also did not open the boot to help with luggage. Got our address wrong too. Incredibly poor service, keep clear as all costs!

Don’t use this company!!! I booked a minibus and now they’re sending 2 taxis from a different town- they phone you up and tell you you can’t get what you booked from a call centre in India - honestly you can hardly understand a word they say - you tell them you want what you ordered but once you’ve paid - your stuffed!!! As I said DO NOT BOOK with these incompetent idiots

I requested a car to arrive for 4pm, TaxiCode rung me around 5-10mins later to ask if I would accept 4.30pm, to which I replied I would. another 5-10mins after this I received another call from TaxiCode asking would I consider a car for 4.45pm, to which I replied 'no, this is unfortunately too late and I have another company I can go with instead.' I requested a refund twice during this call, but the operator insisted my car would arrive by 4.30pm (I was told they had checked with their manager & available taxi services), but they needed to update the system to show 4.45pm, just in case. I was then assigned a driver & over the next hour told every 20-30mins that my cab was delayed due to heavy traffic. I called taxi code again, asked for a refund and to cancel the cab as the new arrival time was after 5pm (an hour past my original requested time). The operator (Abdullah) was now hugely unhelpful, couldn't direct me to the manager or offer a refund even though I was getting direct updated from the cab company to tell me they were hugely delayed. He said he would ring the company to check the new ETA and get back to me with an update, which he never did. I finally got a call at 5.51pm (1.45+hours after my original time) to let me know the driver had arrived. The passengers I was arranging the journey for had an important event to get to and would've missed it if they'd waited around for this cab. I was also being told that there were road closures on the M25 due to an accident that had happened at 8.50am in the morning (this was past 4pm). I searched online traffic updates and saw this road had been reopened earlier in the day and average traffic wait times were no more than 10-15mins. I appreciate there are issues on the day (such as accidents etc), but then the cab company needs to take responsibility for delays and either provide a cab that is closer or offer a refund when they're unable to meet the requested time slot.

We booked for a party of 15 people for a journey from West Yorkshire to London Gatwick, they took the money for the return agreement, the first trip they never even turned up!! We chased them down and they never sent the booking detail onto a company, so we then had to rush down on local transport at our own added expense, and then coming back our flight had a small delay, and we were told that because of our problems we would get a 16 seater bus to take us all back, we ended up getting 2 buses of 8 who couldn’t find the correct exit to pick us up from, and made us pay extra money for the plane being delayed, and we have yet to see any of the money back from our booking, or compensation for the added expense we had. Terrible company. VERY untrustworthy. AVOID!!!!!

DO NOT USE. This company cancelled 2 separate events leaving multiple people stranded. The first was coach for 35 people and they just didn't turn up and 'forgot' to tell us they had cancelled. The 2nd was another event with a coach and they cancelled right at the last minute.

Terrible service. Driver rung in sick so new driver was 50 minutes late on outbound journey. Return journey 10 times worse!! Flight was delayed by 40 minutes so driver gave up waiting! Driver given wrong flight details by taxicode so arrived early then charged us £40 for the wait, then made us wait an hour and a half to actually agree to take us home. AVOID THIS COMPANY, RIP-OFF.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS It was my wedding day on Saturday and we had paid £300 upfront for two minibuses to take me and my guests home at the end of the night. Our booking was cancelled 3 hours before they were due, leaving us no time to get an alternative and leaving me and my guests stranded until 1:30am trying to find another company. This was also after speaking to one of their operators who assured me several times that our booking would be fulfilled and would definitely be there for us.

Shocking company! Originally booked a return minibus at £180 each way, after 4 weeks the booking was still unconfirmed, so i decided to call them to discuss what was going on. They stated please give us until 10 days prior to confirm a driver as we have been unable to find one. 10 days prior, the booking remains unconfirmed, and as you can imagine I am concerned that no minibus will be available. As such I decided to cancel the booking and seek an alternative option. Unfortunately, taxicode have decided that the money i paid them is now 90% theirs, despite the fact they were unable to provide the service I paid for. The company has incurred no costs to my booking, yet have decided it is effectively ok to keep my money. I have reported them to my credit card company and various service provide ombudsmen. Their customer service and lack of understanding of the customer is an absolute disgrace. They offered me a credit for the money, which is little to no use if they can't provide the service. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

Avoid at all costs! I booked a Mercedes at £47.50 for a 5 minute journey to take me and my dad to my wedding. Taxi didn’t show up and we had to hail down a car in the street and hitchhike to the wedding so we didn’t miss it. I kept calling and they would just hang up and say they’d call me back. I told them on the booking it was for my wedding so they knew the importance. No apology or acknowledgment of the experience was received. Thank goodness for the kindness of a stranger helping us. I can only assume this is a scam company and I am unsure how they are still in business operating like this. A hugely upsetting experience. Avoid!!

We had a mini-bus booked to collect guests from our wedding venue at the end of our wedding day, for a 20 minute ride back to our guests’ hotel. The booking was cancelled by email leaving our guests stranded, which spoilt the final part of our wedding day. By way of an apology we received a £5 voucher code off of our next booking. There won’t be one. Two of our guests risked their lives to walk back to their hotel along dark country lanes. We spent the first two hours of our wedding night frantically trying to arrange taxis for our guests. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

This company is so bad, As a partner if you have a problem and call them all they say is they are customer service and they cannot help you but they will get someone to call you back. and never call back. If you ask to speak to or Email a request to speak to your account manager they do not call you back. They take payment from your account then claim they have not and when you provide prove they still do nothing about it. If you request a statement of your account they cannot or will not give this to you. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS BOTH BY PARTNERS AND CUSTOMERS

2nd attempt to use this service and second time they've taken my money and not sent a car. Thought using online booking was meant to make life easier knowing it was sorted but this company is just theft under a different name. I guess I didn't learn my lesson the first time round
