Well for once in my lifetime and i am 84, i have had to send back the wool i bought. It had breaks in the shine line and i was very disappointed. But it hasn't put me off i will have more. Any that i have had before has been ok, but perhaps i should not have gone for that one. So that is why i have given it one star. Sylvia Dean.

I placed an order which was dispatched on 6 February and now, on 22 February, It has still not been received! Emailed company today but no reply as yet. Baby will arrive before the wool at this rate!!

Never received my wool. Not offered replacement or refund. Very disappointing!!! Advised it was delivered but no sign of it anywhere.

You asked me how did you do. Well not very well. I ordered the yarn on the 6th feb and you sent an email almost immediately stating that my order was ready for Hermes to deliver. You said to wait 10 working days as Hermes could have a backlog. I patiently waited 10 working days with no parcel, I rang the number you gave me yesterday (19 feb) and was told that the parcel was lost but the wool will be re-sent. However part of the order (1 ball of school grey) was now out of stock so I would have to re-order this at a later day. I explained that this was ok but asked to confirm that I would not have to pay delivery on this as it was part of a bigger order with no delivery charge. The lady on the phone said no that I would have to pay delivery. This is ridiculous as that one ball plus delivery would make the wool much more expensive. I said I was not happy and I doubt that I would use Marriner again. Her reply was ok!!! I order online quite a lot and normally (eg Next) will pay the delivery on all the goods in the order, even if they have to deliver part of the order later when stock comes in, when they have failed to deliver the original order. I am not answering the rest of this survey

I haven’t received my order yet. I emailed you and received an acknowledgement that you were contacting Hermes and would let me know the outcome. It would be good to know if any progress has been made. Thank you.

The wool was poor not fit for purpose ,thick and thin and 2 knots in one ball

I can only give you ⭐️ at the moment as I am still waiting for my order of 25 balls of wool. I ordered this on 08.01.21 and it got to the carrier 11.01.21. I know its a busy time and I've been in touch with Hermes and they haven't had the decency to reply, if I knew you used Hermes I would not have placed my order very unhappy customer

I’ll never order from here again. I placed an order online and wanted to increase the quantity, I telephoned the next day and the woman was incredibly rude on the phone which upset me. She said she ‘doesn’t need this today, and they were in lockdown and very busy didn’t I know’. I was trying to give them more business which I certainly won’t be doing in future. I originally recommended this company to my family and crocheting clubs but I’ve retracted that now and advised them to give a company who appreciates custom their money as this company clearly dont want it. Terrible customer service. To add insult to injury the yarn I ordered, 8/10 balls had knots all the way through. I’ve never had such a bad experience like this before I wish I’d of cancelled the order.

Hello Abi, I'm really sorry you had this negative experience when you called us in November and please accept my and our company’s apologies for what was a regrettable and unfortunate experience. We take pride in our customer service and I appreciate you bringing this unusual lapse to my attention. I wish I had been made aware of this earlier and I would have responded immediately. I can however assure you that having been made aware of your concerns I have addressed this issue. Being busy is absolutely no excuse for not treating our customers well and I can assure you that the behaviour of one of our employees in this instance does not represent the standards which we expect of all of our employees. The yarn that I received was completely the wrong colour. When I called to try and resolve, the person on the phone was so unhelpful. I am now getting my yarn elsewhere.

I have not received my order yet yet was 4 balls of navy dk. I’m sorry but I won’t be using your site again. Very dissatisfied I ordered it on the 25 th of November please get back to me. As it’s too late now for my order. Just put my money back in my bank please

How can I give you a review when I have not received my order yet. In the past we have had trouble with the delivery company delivering to the wrong address and just leaving the parcel somewhere else, not even getting a signature, luckily the person who it was left with brought around to us, has this happen again. Please reply to the e-mail. Thank you.
