“After waiting 14 days, I rang to find out when I was likely to receive my order. I was told that they had just received their order and would send items out. However, they were unable to get further stocks of tea towels so they would refund the money. I am still waiting”

“I ordered my goods on 3rd August when one item was listed as out of stock. I assumed the other items would be sent out and the out of stock one would follow. By the 18th I had heard no more so phoned the help line. I was told two items were out of stock and as the games were over they would not be getting any more in and that was the reason for the hold up of the whole order. I asked why they could not have told me this sooner and the reply was that they were very busy. As I was due to go on holiday I was told they could either process the order straight away or wait till I was home. I asked for it now and it arrived on 20th August.
Good service in the end but too long a delay initially.
One item ordered was sent in the wrong size and although the other sizes are correct they are all on the small side.”
“I just feel that they under budgeted for the merchandise as I ordered a kilted mug and they said it was in stock and when it hadn't arrived I enquired to be told they were sold out. I feel they should have accounted for more supplies due to public demand.”
“The fridge magnets came very quickly. They are for a friend. I would never have paid £2.75 for such useless items. Now she wants one with a 'scots man 'on! Good job your'e efficient!”
“Disappointed that my T Shirt hasn't arrived yet after paying £4.50 P&P. Also I feel there should have been some reduced clothing offered online as many items were reduced in George Square shop”
“Hi there. I ordered a pin badge which came reasonably quickly and in good condition. Although I was happy to collect it from my local Royal Mail office, I found it surprising that such a small item needed signing for while my actual Commonwealth Games tickets were just posted through the door without a signature (presuming that was a separate department?)
Also it was frustrating to initially find no programmes online. When I enquired and was told (very promptly by email) they had been added to the website, they had all virtually sold out the minute I looked. So I purchased them elsewhere online (for face value) only to find a week later the online shop had them back in stock and for half price (along with other 'sold out' items).
My local John Lewis (Norwich) stocked nothing at all during the games, and the choice online was very limited too on their site. I did buy some items at the games and the rest elsewhere online.
However, I am pleased that the Clyde mascots have been made available again and have reordered a couple for Christmas. All the merchandise I have bought has all been fine and actually a bit more attractive than some of the London 2012 items. The games itself were great and I thoroughly enjoyed them and Glasgow.
Kind regards
Jason”
“The first order we placed had not been processed for some reason, so our second order a week later meant that the choice was limited, also there was no emails to let me know where my order was up to, so was unsure if the second order would arrive or not, so I was relieved to see the package arrive this morning, will need to check that I haven't been charged for the first order I placed.”
“The service in the Shop in Glasgow was excellent, very helpful and efficient. However, the tee-shirt that I bought for my husband didn't fit him so I went on-line. Very disappointed not to be able to use my £5 off voucher and then to find out the half-price sale started a day later!”
“Generally normal onloine shopping experience. Several items appeared multiple times which was confusing and made it slightly more difficult to choose.”
“I found the shop to be overpriced. Also lots of confusion between staff working there whether Glasgow 2014 volunteers with accreditation received discount in store or not. I had blue accreditation and I did not receive any discount!”
