“Fair view are a very professional team but friendly as well. They kept in touch & responded to queries promptly. Using them took all the stress out of dealing with the lenders direct as it is such an onerous task getting a mortgage these days. Their fee was worth every single penny and I would definitely use them again”

“We had been to two previous mortgage advisers who were unsuccessful in finding us a lender. On each occasion we were told that they couldn't help. We decided to try one last time and came across Fair Mortgages, looked at the previous reviews which gave us a bit of confidence. At the time of writing we will complete in a few days. It wasn't plain sailing but Tracy from Fair Mortgages never gave up. Thank you so much - using Fair Mortgages was literally life changing.”

“Having a less than perfect credit file, we went to Fairmortgages for independent advice and to get a mortgage we knew we could afford. Tracy was responsive to all our enquiries, and I would consider myself a regular contact customer. After application Patrick worked tirelessly to get our mortgage application processed as quickly as possible as we needed a quick turnaround, Tracy was still there if we needed her to be. All in we are very pleased with the service Fairmortgages provided.”

“I can not thank Emily and Helen enough! I had recently been dealing with another company who advised to wait until August and was willing to wait until I spoke with Emily who was upbeat and positive about the situation, she was so helpful offering the best advice and we decided to try our luck with fair mortgages. I am so pleased that I decided to go with Emily and we have now secured our mortgage offer! Emily and Helen calmed me down through the whole process, were there to offer advice and chase when needed. Emily even sent me emails while she was supposed to be on holiday just to keep me calm. I really can not put into words how much of a credit Emily and Helen are to fair mortgages. “I was shocked at the paper work involved when we have a property valued at £650000 and I was only borrowing £100000 plus other properties valued conservatively at £1.5m and it's still not finished because of a site reference No for the new by to let property ( not really your problem ) which I am trying to get to the bottom of. Your staff have always been polite and efficient. It's the system that's in need of streamlining”

“Sian was very helpful with our application.I was very happy with her advise and the infomation she provided use with. The only issue I was not completely happy with was the time it has taken for the application to be completed we started the application at the end of January and it is now nearly the end of April and we still do not have a completion date. This may not be due to fair mortgages but some updates would have been helpful. I have”

“I cannot express my gratitude for Lindsay obtaining my mortgage, despite my age, and the fact that major financial institutions will not lend to anyone beyond 75 years. I am also very grateful, that when I changed from plot 62 to plot 11, she took it in her stride and very quickly managed to instruct the Buckinghamshire Building Society which has enabled me to complete my purchase only three days later than planned. I am more than satisfied with your service, well done all round.”

“The advice received was balanced and helpful and the application process was straightforward. The process to gain an approval in principle was very quick. Completing the application to get a full mortgage offer was very slow, however, this was due to the volume of applications at the lender end rather than any failing from Fair Mortgages. Jo and Jenny responded very promptly to any queries. It might be worth considering a more proactive update approach though in cases that do take a long time. We would use and recommend Fair Mortgages again.”
