“I have hired delay again flights in May 2019 after my flights was cancelled in the last minute – 4 days- 1 week prior of my bookings.
I was informed by delay again flight administration people –solicitors that I could persuade my claims even if it was bought through the travel agency due to a short notice given - less than 14 days which is obligated by law.
My claim was acceptable and directed for Butterworths Solicitors Company.
Butterworth Solicitors Company – Delay again flights asked me to sign a lot of papers – They are acting on my behalf.
I have had a very poor service in terms of communication through phone calls and emails to find out about my process.
I was communicating with one of the staff that reported to me that it could take 18 months to be solved.
I was in my right and they were waiting for the airline to defend themselves regarding my claim.
I had a full refund of my ticket cost. However, I did this claim due to the stress I had that time with the cancelation at the last minute. Furthermore, I had to buy a new flight tickets which I did not pay the same amount as my previous ticket.
I did this claim not because of the compensation which I would get only 250 euros.
My point to go all this way - through solicitors was to reach the airline in terms of moral damage with a cancelation at the last minute.
Where is the customer service care, commitments?
I would like the airline understanding the stress and the moral damaged them caused me.
I was waiting for my compensation. I am sure that I am right to get it due to the facts.
A month ago when it was about to finish my case (18 months later 2020) and to get my compensation Butterworths Solicitors Company contact me saying that they revised my case and that they would not continue due to my tickets were bought through an agency.
This company is not trustable they knew very well since the begriming of my claims that my tickets was bought through agency and they accepted my case.
How I know that they did not continued to persuade my case and/or did get or not the compensation; and kept the compensation money?
It is only 250 euros, but if it is calculated for every customer that had the same experience as me how much would be?
I am a honest citizen that contact this company to try to persuade my rights against people that take advance of you, but what I get it was a very poor service. If my signature in lots of papers.

“Delayed Again did achieve what they said they would do and I received compensation from the airline. However, they charged 50% of the compensation for their services, which did not include taking the airline to court. This seemed ridiculously expensive - they included a separate administration charge... it's all admin! I questioned the charge and was met with a (fairly patronising) brick wall. Not illegal but definitely not value for money!”
“18 months and NOTHING, both the company and Butterworths Solicitors achieved nothing, so I emailed them to close the case and I would handle it myself, after a short period, I won my award due to my OWN efforts, now they have the nerve to email me saying congratulations and want a slice??? total pi**takers”
“Efficient customer service but the solicitor that was appointed was rather lacklustre in their approach to the case, with them not wishing to challenge the reason for the delay given by the airline, despite it being a straight forward case. I subsequently represented myself and used the CEDR to mediate with the airline. Full compensation was awarded in my favour. My first review mysteriously disappeared, so I hope this one will not disappear as well.”
“Made a claim, it took a reasonable time and eventually I got a message saying the claim is successful. I was asked to fill a form with my bank details. I did.
However, the money never showed up in the account. When emailed them about the money they said that they sent it to a different bank account! Really? What different bank account? They were not willing to tell me.
That happened on August and in response I was told that they will contact the bank and amend it, and will send me the money. But that never happened and I keep chasing them on a weekly basis.
I can't express how shocked I am from this behavior.”

Web Site Page doesn’t tell truth if this is deemed as fair compensation.
Will be telling Family, Friends & anyone else that I can not to deal with Delayed Again if they need to claim compensation.”

We're sorry you're unhappy with the settlement we won for you.
Compensation is fixed under EU legislation and it is not something we can adjust. The £9.7k figure you've mentioned is not accurate as per the legislation and I'm not sure where that's come from, but once again, I apologise that you're unhappy.
I can only hope that you enjoy spending your settlement maybe on another holiday? :) one where the airline doesn't delay the flight!
“So after nearly a year of waiting my case is closed and I received nothing. I was told from the outset my claim looked promising and worth whilst pursuing. I had to prompt all communication if I didn’t I would probably still be in limbo! Will try another company. I would look around before choosing this company unless you have time to be chasing this up. Poor communication. False promises. Delayed again or Think Again before using!!”

“Claim referred to Butterworth solicitors on 1/11/17. Heard nothing for nearly 3 months. On enquiring was told EasyJet had refused compensation for precisely the same reasons they had rejected our original claim in June! Solicitors unprepared to take the matter further. A total waste of time and effort!”
A total and complete shambles from start to finish. I ended up doing most of the work and they even sent letters chasing payment and threatening legal action when I hadn't even received a settlement. DO NOT USE - you have been warned”
“Money earned under false pretences. I am not going to waste anymore of my time explaining the circumstances behind my complete disgust with this company. If you are remotely interested read my file. Enough said I never received a payment acknowledgement but did receive letters threatening legal action when I hadn't even received a payout. I will be contracting trading standards and posting in social media. Disgusting, vile treatment received.”
