unfortunately in September I had my vehicle stolen and had to make a claim, as I was paying monthly and was only half way into my policy I owed some payments, BCD want full payment paying from my payout, which was fine by me. when the insurance company asked them for the outstanding balance BCD sent them the wrong information 3 times and on the 4th attempt they sent an amount, this took just over 3 weeks, this delayed my payout, due to this I had to hire a vehicle so I could continue to work and not lose my contracts, then after the insurance company had deducted the owed monies from my claim BCD then requested an other amount, insurance company refused to pay the extra and claim had already been paid. BCD then sent me an email stating they was going to cancel my policy unless I paid them not only the extra monies they wanted but also the monies that had already been deducted from my claim payout, I had 7 days to pay them £1050. I contacted them explained that the insurance company had these monies, the replied they contact the insurance company after 5 day I had no reply so rang back to be told they had emailed the insurance company twice but no reply, I then rang the insurance company and within 10 mins I went through security checks, explained the problem, received an email confirming monies had been deducted from my claim payout and they even rang BCD and told them while I was on the phone not cancel my policy. this was last week, this week more emails pay us or we are cancelling your policy now for £75, Reason given, insurance company took too long to pay them and final figure had gone up so currently I have to pay this £75 which has arisen at no fault of myself or risk having my policy cancelled which will result in me being out of work. 3.5 years I've been their customer and this is how they treat you. Well done BCD you've lost me as a customer and 14 others upto now that I've told about your disgusting treatment and I'll be making it my mission to lose you more, 20,000 couriers where I work all self employed and responsible for their own insurance. I'll be posting this everywhere I can.

Just wanted to say that we are a client with a fleet policy and the team's dealing with the premier clients there is amazing, have had a reply to all our e-mails quite quickly and effectively. Just recently we have had quite massive issues caused by a 3-rd party and they went above and beyond in assisting us to resolve the matter ASAP without any knowledgeable hindrance, that was a massive relief for us, as up till now we still have no idea what should be the base case of action in such occurrences. Massive thanks to Aaron who was the one dealing with the matter from the beginning and saw it till the end. Many many thanks to the entire team in the premier client department who had been there for us for the past couple of years. Wish you all the best.

Ridiculous. Just got my van insurance cancelled after 2 weeks. First they needed NCB proof from my own car insurer and when I gave it to them all was good. After 2 weeks they called me asking if I want a gap Insurance. I have told them they just woke me up and we agreed to call me back in 1 hour. Instead of a phone call I received cancellation notice because of "outstanding documents ". I called them and found out someone have decided they are not happy with my address and asked a written declaration of what my occupation is. I have send them email and tried to contact them via live chat to ask if this is enough but had no answer in 30 min. Tried 1 more time-same. And now Instead of paying back my deposit they even asking more money for the cancellation. I won't recommend this cheap clowns even to my worst enemy

After emailing this below last year and following through continuously since with then very little and now no response at all from BCD "I am getting in touch in the regards to the cancellation policy and the situation I have been put in at no fault of my own. The current situation is I am currently uninsured which means I am unable to work, see my children etc. I also live rurally with the nearest shop a 1 hour walk from my address and have also dealing with the sudden death of my sister and nephew during December. This on top the current restriction regarding COVID-19 and it been the festive season which has meant reduced services available including BCDs. After paying nearly £1500 towards my policy with the 1st payment made on renewal and a further payment of just under £500 made on Tuesday 29th December, it was at this point I was made aware that there was an issue regarding documents required. I was instructed to submit my driving licence no later than that day, which I did on getting home after a 13-hour day at work. I outlined to the agent I spoke to on the 29th Dec and today (31st Dec) I was unaware that these documents were required within a time frame. I had been in contact with BDC over the December who had contacted me regarding my Public Liability, Goods In Transit and I had contacted regarding future payments. These dates are 3rd, 4th, 15th, 16th, 18th, 22nd, 24th, 28th, 29th of December. I then contacted BDC on the 30th Dec after picking up a text outlining my policy had been cancelled, to which as on many previous occasions, was cut off after selecting from your options (I have actually highlighted this to agents of BDC in past communications on the phone). I called again today (31st Dec) to be told that my policy had been cancelled and that I would have to renew my policy, there was a cancellation of policy now against my name, that the payments made for the additions (£300+) to my Insurance was non-refundable and that I had been charged a £75 cancellation fee. After speaking in depth with your agent today, who I found try to deflect this situation from what it exactly was as stated above, i.e., we have called, sent you emails, texts. I acknowledged this was correct hence the telephone contact made by me on the dates stated above but emails regarding documents required were never received and the requirement of documents was also never raised in direct verbal contact, text or voicemail by BDC. In regards to emails, something I do not always have access to due to the line of work I am in. on checking my inbox today, the last email received from BDC were my document received on renewal and some that have come up yesterday and Tuesday as Spam regarding my policy been cancelled. To add to this, this situation was further compounded by a letter received today regarding Continuous Insurance Enforcement which I found disrespectful to a customer who has insured 2 vehicles with you previously. It made me feel like a criminal As soon as I knew of that documents were required, I responded immediately and as directed by the agent on the 29th December by submitting my Driving Licence by the end of the 29th Dec 2020. I will be getting in touch on Monday as directed by todays agent to seek an amicable resolution to this matter"

I wouldn’t use this lot if they were the last on this earth. At the start of the policy I advised I didn’t own the van that was no issue even changed the van told them it was a company that owned it not me no issue got another newer van o wait a minute you don’t own the van. Yes that’s right just like the last 2 vans. O the insurer needs proof ect. Got this done STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH. No call back or emails back like promised they take your hard earned money and not bother with you. I have lost money due to this and they don’t give a monkeys. I’ll be surprised if I get anything about this review from them. So if I was you STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I’ll be contacting the actual insurer to speak to them about this crook of a company

I am absolutely shocked at the way I have been treated by BCD. I was with them for 6 years and after problem after problem with information and direct debits failing because of in house problems(quoted by their staff) they cancelled my insurance without even trying to help me, especially in the Covid-19 epidemic. Do not use this middle man rubbish, because you will be truly let down. You should be ashamed of your selves, if this is the way you treat your loyal long term customer. Avoid...

Unethical company. AVOID I have sold my car and cancelled policy they asked me to pay over £150 for the policy cancellation plus additional charges. As I currently don't have any source of income, I ask them for a payment plan to clear my debt. They did give my debt to Insurance debt collection bureau, which occurred even higher charges. Very nasty people. Avoid, Avoid,
