“This was our second visit to the Baron at Bucknell. The accommodation was very good, the room was exceptionally clean and modern. The on-suite fittings were of the highest standard. We had evening meals and breakfasts during our stay. The food was well prepared and very enjoyable. The owners were very friendly and and the staff helpful. We will definitely go back to the Baron at Bucknell again.”

“My partner and I stayed at the Baron last weekend and without doubt will be returning. We received a warm and friendly welcome and before long we exchanged banter with Phil over the complexities of making a whiskey coffee! We felt like regulars within a very short space of time. Our room was fantastic. The amount of work and attention to detail that Phil and Debra have put in was evident the minute we were shown to our room. The standard of furnishings, the space and light are outstanding. There's even an ipod doc! They clearly want their guests to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay and we certainly did. We found the bed a little soft for our taste but other than that, faultless. The food, both at dinner and breakfast, was delicious. A great choice and full of flavour. We will definitely be returning and I have to say, ONE NIGHT IS DEFINITELY NOT ENOUGH! Thank you to Phil, Debra and their team for contributing to a wonderful weekend.”

“After a long search for accommodation in the Ludlow area we booked in at the ?Baron? having been impressed with the information provided online. We were certainly not disappointed. The bedrooms cannot be described as anything less than fantastic. The feeling of knowing you were staying somewhere special was confirmed the moment the door was opened. The standard of decor and facilities is clear to see and our room was finished to a very high specification and was beautifully presented. We stayed for two nights and were able to enjoy breakfast on each morning of our stay as well as an evening meal on the Saturday. The food was lovely and again the table service was excellent. Following our meal on the Saturday evening we spent some time at the bar whilst enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. For us the highlights were the room, excellent service and the fact we left feeling well rested despite fitting in a busy day visiting the local area. We will be coming back again soon!”
