“I had a problem with the product I ordered. It didnt arrive as advertised. I contacted askherfriends who said they would contact the seller. I never heard form the seller. when I enquired a second time askherfriends said they would chase the seller for a response but I never heard anything back form either.”

Hi Jenny, and I am sorry that you were disappointed with the service you received from AskHerFriends. Each time we corresponded we pushed the seller to sort out your issue, and they should have replied directly to you. We are a marketplace and that means we can allow our customers an unparalleled range of gift ideas, from a single checkout, whilst also maintaining value for our customers through our Price Promise. However, on occasion this can lead to issues, as sellers are responsible for an element of the customer service themselves - they must reply to customer requests. I understand that geo-fleur has now dealt with your request but we will be speaking to them about how they manage customer requests and the timeliness in which they respond, as it reflects very badly on us. I am very sorry you had this experience and we will look at the process around ensuring sellers respond in a more timely manner. Ben

“The website design looks fantastic but in my experience it can be a little slow now and then. The range isn't huge but I think the products are more personal, of better quality and they keep you well updated on the status of your order. Delivery times vary from seller to seller so don't be put off if you encounter an issue with one of them. My first order took over a week to arrive whereas my second order, from a different vendor, arrived within 48 hours. The customer support I received was polite and speedy, I'd definitely use AskHerFriends again. I'm also looking forward to the launch of AskHisFriends and I would like to see a few updates to the website in the future such as ratings and reviews for individual vendors/products and real time stock updates.”

“Great website that helped me find the perfect gift for my mum. Brilliant service if things go wrong, when it wasn't even their fault. Only improvement would be stock information to prevent you ordering something that the seller doesn't have in stock.”

“I ordered a "Cereal Killer" dessert spoon for my adult son and personalised it with his name. It came very quickly and was well made. I will be gifting it attached to a box of Cocoa Pops. He has not received it yet, but I think it is great!”

Hi Brad, I’m very sorry you’ve had such a disappointing experience with AskHerFriends. At Christmas delivery times get very stretched and the order should be with you any day now. We should have got back to you, though, with this confirmation. Regarding the review request, this is an automated process from an independent review provider, which is triggered when the seller confirms that they are beginning the dispatch process. We will investigate with our seller as to why they confirmed that the product had been sent when it actually hasn’t yet arrived with you.

“I really like the questionnaire idea to find things she would like by asking about her hobbies etc. I'm not sure it works perfectly but it's a really good starting point, and I did find some lovely things.”

“I had a problem with a non delivery. It took a bit to sort but Ben at AskHerFriends couldn't have been more helpful. In the end sent me a dearer product (chocolates of course) at no extra cost. Thank you.”

“Hi, ordered goods and they were here very swiftly, as described. They are a gift and the recipient is yet to receive them (!), so can't really say more at the moment. But love the look of them , v quirky item and, as I say, arrived speedily.”
