“Asda was good but the insurer was not clear on their website and caused several issues that needed sorting out. Continuously having to send in documentation etc which was frustrating rather than requesting information once at outset.”

“i insured through vanline direct it was the cheapest quote . i had to insure on the sunday so that i could pick up the car on monday. so i accepted the quote . BIG MISTAKE .they rang on the monday morning and told me i had been awarded 2 discount for my no claims bonus .and that the quote was wrong .they told me that i had to pay another £70 pounds . i was also told that if i cancelled the policy. it was still going to cost me 25 pounds to cancel . i decided to keep the insurance because i had arranged to buy and pick up the van ; a week later they rang me and told me that i could pay 6 pounds and that would cover me for my £500 access, a spacifically asked them that if i paid only £6 that would cover my access he replied yes it would ..the next day i got a e mail telling the direct debit had been raised by £6 per month . . i have rang them up and told them my complaints and asked them for the security recordings as i am going to pursue this vigourously. .”

“Asda van insurance is not Asda van insurance. They use their good name and logo to lure in customers. You are actually being transferred to a “broker” same as any other comparison site. I was transferred to “Freedom” brokers who dealt with me. Beware, if you do a spelling error like Mr instead of Mrs they alter it for you and charge you £35 Admin charge instead o modern day Text, Email or the phone just try to take £35per customer, this is where they make there money in £35charges. But I was on to them for this and they never charged me cos I “said” “why didn’t you phone email or text me cos of my error. Be careful. Go to direct company’s for any quote any car insurance or anything insurance. Do not use comparison sites cos they wanna make money. RIP offs. They’ve got me twice now I’m fuming. My advice is to like myself is to save up and by your insurance cash and do not use a comparison site ever Repeat, rip off. Don’t you just hate the site of those gimmicks, mere cats etc. Happy shopping be careful. Admin”
