Placed an order for two thermal t shirts, and one pair thermal pants, package delivered intact, but minus one t shirt!! Got in touch with customer service, who was trying to there maybe another parcel on the way, leave it a couple of days? Then tried to put the blame on the courier, as I said parcel intact? Then told to fill the online form, this has been going on since the 10th November!! Just had another email asking me to fill in the I wish to deny row, with tracking number, I cant tell you how many times I've given this information, reading reviews on here, I feel lucky to have recieved at least two of the items purchased, very will I buy anything from this company or any other store linked to them.

Ordered three items, a coat and two pants. One pair of pants didn’t arrive, had to send off forms and get in touch for there to be no resolve. One month later and they won’t issue the refund until I close the case with PayPal. Customer service was absolute dog sh1t

Ordered a pair of walking boots which arrived within a couple of days. Found they were too small so returned them using their recommended courier and supplied returns label. Was told a refund would be made within 28 days. Guess what? No refund and no way to contact them. Absolute waste of time. A shambles of a company that used to have a good reputation.

Similar experience to all of the preceeding reviews. Ordered 2 items on 3rd November and still not delivered. Seems to be an I.T. issue at their end if initial response from them is to be believed. Recent chasing of Customer Services Dept does not elicit any response. My advice is to avoid this company until they can sort out their internal problems.

I made an order on the 22nd of November, which I have yet to receive - today is 7th Dec. The online tracking service doesn't work, so I have no idea what the status of the order is. I've emailed Customer Care 3 times but only get an automated response email telling me someone from Customer Care will contact me, but I hear nothing from them. Very poor service.

Two Orders since October not delivered!! I have been told today (1st Dec) that Blacks will be unable to fulfil my order placed on 3rd November. My first order on 24th Oct was lost by the courier and I was persueded to re-order (as they can't resend). My second order on 3rd November has been damaged and is on it's way back to the Warehouse as on 1st Dec. They are unable to resend so this is my second order since October that has not been delivered. Apparantly there was an issue with the delivery company Hermes and the Parcel was damaged. They are unable to resend my order even if they have the stock (why?) and will refund so I will never get the goods I ordered. I feel sorry for the customer service staff, they have no capability to help out, it's a shambles. I CAN ONLY STRESS - DO NOT USE BLACKS and would suggest you avoid any other of the group of companies. Save yourself the pain.

I placed an order. Received an update it was being processed in the warehouse. One month later no delivery, foundctgat the item wasn't in stock. Requested a PayPal refund. Told it would be in my account by the end of the day. Called a week later to be told it would take up to two weeks for a refund and that they had made a request to PayPal for the refund. Funnily enough 2 weeks later and still no refund. Terrible service. I get the impression the staff dont care about the company reputation or they're about to go bust and they've given up caring.

Avoid Blacks online store at all costs. What a nightmare. Placed an order and after 2 weeks of no communication dropped their customer service an email. I would have been better off heading down to the local supermarket and having a conversation with a Teflon frying pan. Nothing is their fault. This team is full of excuses, all of which seem like generic copy and pasted ranging from the order is stuck in the system, we are waiting to hear back from out IT team. Absolutely abysmal service. Escalating to Consumer Direct - their an absolute farce and should not be allowed to operate. Stay well clear.

My daughter and I have been to and fro with Blacks after my parcel was not delivered in the first week of October. Hermes have marked it as delivered but there is no signature or photo as proof. I’m now utterly frustrated as I’ve now stuck between false info from Hermes and Blacks total inability to understand so still have no walking boots, and Blacks still have my moneyNightmare!!

Placed the order and two weeks later still waiting, they say the order was "stuck in their system" Waste of time - Placed an order with Sports Direct who delivered as i needed the walking shoes and was not able to wait - still waiting !!

Ordered 2 coleman c300 gas canisters on Oct 22nd, emailed the so called customer services, when asked about my order, excuse number 1, DUE TO THE COVID PAMDEMIC WAREHOUSE HAS TO MODIFY WAREHOUSES TO GOVERNMENT EULWS, and the robot go to excuse, PLEASE WAIT 3 DAYS FOR AN UPDATE which was, never received, made a refund request on Nov 9th, called the court order service about the now due refund and surprise surprise ppl I'VE NOW BEEN TOLD TP WAIT 3 MORE DAYS TO SEE IF I GET THE REFUND, I'm now, not expecting any refund, as, they (blacks UK) seem determined to not refund my money, my order was, for £8.94 the amount means, nothing when some ppl are waiting and, STILL chasing lTfer refunds, not only disgusted and dissatisfaction, I will only buy from reputable stores, my only asive, is to avoid this sham company, stay local and support other local shops, I have after the rip off from blacks, 100% better experience, superior customer. Placed an order 31st October Got txt saying Great news your order is working its way through warehouse Heard nothing since Tried to contact them everyday Get automated service Finally got to speak to someone They said money had been refunded into my account 2nd November it hadn’t Waiting now for callback Don’t go near them

Placed an order for I stock walking pants, money taken by CC then following day money refunded but less the delivery fee!? The problem is they never confirmed the order by email or provided purchase information. Assuming this is a good way to make money when goods are out of stock... nice little earner or scan. Pls don’t use this company no order number no can refund postage ...!

Total rubbish. I ordered a pair of (expensive) boots on 25 September. Seven emails and two phone calls later, I have only got the response noted below by other angry customers. This must be a scam, or are they going bust?

Wish I read all these reviews before ordering! Been waiting 2 weeks for my order i emailed them alex told me that the order was delayed, Becky! Told me it's being prepared at our warehouse they didn't delay taking the money out of my bank! Absolutely shocking go and shop elsewhere I will never use this company again.

I ordered 3 items from blacks in their website since 8th of October. Today is now the 4th of November, I haven't received my order. I emailed them many times they said there is an IT issues and my order was stuck and another email said, it was preparing at the warehouse. I phoned them, they said they'll raise the issue. I asked them, just refund the money back to me, but they said, they can't do it until the issue is sorted. Until when this issue will be resolved? They can't give me a definite date. Have you heard anything like this? Unbelievable!!! Refunding is also not possible yet and delivery is not definite yet? So rubbish!!!

I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that this company only employs people who finger paint with their own poop. After 2 months and countless emails I'm still chasing a refund for the tracked returns that had arrived with them...despite being told twice this had been processed. They say if you sit enough monkeys behind typewriters they will eventually write the complete works of Shakespeare, if that's the case, Blacks need to employ more monkeys as beyond the same copy and pasted emails any level of interaction of issues raised seems to be beyond them. On the plus side I'm sure some people will appreciate wasting their time dealing with the bumbling incompetence of this company during lockdown.

Very rarely do I make the effort to write a bad review, as I believe negativity breeds negativity and I am generally a positive minded person. My recent experience with Blacks however, for other consumers sakes, I feel compelled to write this review. On ordering from Blacks last week, I ordered a pair of Black Montane Terra Mission Pants as well as a pair of merino socks for an upcoming trip to the lakes next week (hence time is of the essence in receiving these items) The website clearly stated there was stock, and allowed me to place order. It took roughly 5 days for an email to be sent stating my order has been dispatched, however my Terra Pants were unfortunately out of stock, so the order was cancelled. Irritating to say the least as I had waited days to find this out. On looking online, the item was showing as still in stock, and I was still able to order the pants. I phoned customer services who explained that the item wasnt in stock when dispatching, however, a new 24 pairs had come in that morning. I was told despite myself placing a new order, they could bit guarantee I would receive it. Strange way of doing business - selling items and taking money for which are wholly unavailable? I made a new order and waited another 3 days with no updates. I contacted customer services and had numerous emails with Catalin who wasn't very helpful at all, continued to tell me she could not guarantee my order, despite money being taken. I found the item in another store who have guaranteed delivery by 4pm tomorrow. Albeit more expensive, I am not willing to wait for Blacks to sort their proverbial out. I made the order with the rival company (Cotswold Outdoors for those who want a better store...much better in my eyes) On contacting Catalin to cancel my order, I've been told that she cannot cancel my order, and that I would have to wait until delivery before organising a refund by sending the item back. The fact that it merely takes a click of a button these days to cancel an order - How Blacks find this way of doing business economical and efficient, let alone 'customer led' is beyond me. Save yourself the hassle, headache and frustration and order elsewhere. I implore you, for your own sanity.

Without doubt the worst online experience ever ...customer service is absolutely terrible.... my item took over a week to arrive even tho the website claims 3 to 4 days ..the parcel didn't have my house number on it ...And even after it was delivered Blacks sent me an e mail claiming it was with a neighbour... my advice is shop elsewhere
