Okay, so the wax I bought in a tin for my jacket was decent enough. However, I did have to find a YouTube video of someone rewaxing a coat because the directions on the tin were less than comprehensive. If you are about to buy wax and do your coat, melt the wax ENTIRELY in the tin by boiling it in a pan of water on the hob. Then sponge it on, but not too much or you'll have very sticky areas on the coat. If you are too vigorous with it, use a hairdryer to soften or melt the wax again and then remove by working a sponge or cloth over it. The fact that I've had to tell you that is reason enough for the 3-star review.
