I absolutely love that it was a handwritten note! I assumed having typed out what I wanted on the birthday card attached to the gift I was giving my friend, that it would be my typing printed verbatim and attached. I was so heartwarmingly surprised that it was rather a handwritten note that copied what I had wanted my friend to read. She loved the note, the box and everything in it.
