I recently (2 days ago) bought 2 beef boxes and 1 offal box along with a lone chicken. It's the chicken i'm going to review. The meat is excellent, i've had it before and suggest you try it for yourself. By the way, the packaging is excellent. Anyway to the chicken. I've bought farm-raised chickens from a supermarket before and thought they are better than the ordinary ones. We had the Ormsby bird for Sunday lunch and i must say the taste and texture is a cut above. It is meaty and full of flavour off the legs, and the breast isn't soft and pliable but has a full meaty flavour. I am using the carcase to make stock for chicken soup to use up all of the meat as i don't like waste! If you haven't ventured into the world of properly farmed meat because of cost i recommend you try it once. Whilst i find you can't always get it when you want it, it's worth waiting for.
