we purchased the socks for my husband and I and a pair of the gloves for me for early spring canoe camping. The socks were successful. our feet stayed somewhat dry and also warm despite frigid water. The gloves were not as successful. As many of the reviews said, the finger diameter was very tight ( I wear a size 8 glove or medium womens hand size), but still they felt quite tight which made them colder than wearing mitts that got wet but let my hands move and breathe. I would not recommend the gloves due to the sizing.
