The lady who took my initial call was caring , understanding and patient , I was a sobbing mess and she let me take my time to make the arrangements with her . After being given enough time to say my goodbyes , the young man who came to collect Poppy was calming , gentle and totally respectful of her little body , she was treated with dignity . I personally didn’t want ashes but I had asked for the option of fur clippings , these were delivered a couple of days later in a simple glass phial just the right size to hold in your hand for comfort . I was also given a candle which was a lovely touch . I’ve been left feeling content that I did the very best for her in death as I did in life . Thank you to all involved .
