Our child loved receiving the boxes (what kid doesn't like getting mail!) but I found the value to be low for the overall cost. The boxes included a magazine, a small storybook, some stickers and usually some off-the-shelf toy or activity (like a keychain, or a cheap gold-panning kit) that were not always very authentic or educational. For the cost I was expecting better quality.
