I can’t thank Chris enough for all his help and support. After finding myself in a position during Covid where my partner was made redundant 3 times; my wages just didn’t cover the bills and found myself in the awful situation of having bandaid loans; which just became too much in the end. Now in a much better situation family wise the financial situation was still just the awful state of working to catch up on debt I had added up trying to pay the bills during the pandemic. I realised that to protect my family, my home and my life I had to take the step to accept help. This has been the most difficult decision I have ever had to make; Chris has had the patience of a saint while I exhausted every possible option before realising that help is out there and yes it will take some time to get over this but in a few years my life will be my own again, instead of in a few years still trying to keep up with the debt I had, not through irresponsible spending but through unavoidable debt that had been accrued trying to keep my family above water through devastating circumstances because of Covid and the knock on impact overall. While I appreciate everyone’s circumstances are very different, the horrible feeling and embarrassment is the same regardless. If you are struggling and are in a position where you just can’t see light at the end of the tunnel; cleanslate can and will help, even if all you need is solid advice to make your own decision on how to proceed, I honestly can’t recommend cleanslate enough.
