The handling of my manuscript has been less than secure, as I felt compelled to send sensitive publishing forms via email, hoping BWF has the necessary GDPR processes in place. This breach of data security is concerning and indicative of a lack of professionalism. My attempts to obtain critical information, such as the final proof draft, updated cover mock-ups, print material specifications, release dates, and distribution plans, have been met with silence or incomplete responses. It's disconcerting that basic questions about paper weight, cover card stock, and ethical sourcing of ink remain unanswered.
