The upside of premier TEFL is the support before leaving, plus it is a good and easy way to find a job which is hard to do in a foreign country. The downside is that it is very expensive to apply for the internship, and the pay was very, very bad considering the high cost of living in Brazil, so unless you have a lot of money saved up it is difficult to travel during your work abroad. The other issue was the lack of communication between TEFL and the English school, since the school was very disorganized it caused a lot of issues. All that said, when I arrived I had a host family and a job from day 1, which would probably have taken me a month to set up on my own.
