My Lowa shoes had a journey from UK to Kenya, where I collected them when I met up with my friend in Tsavo. So far they have been with me in the SGR (train from Mombasa to Nairobi), all urban stuff. The inauguration in Masai Land took place last Friday, dust, dung and rocks. Put it on Facebook. Serious rain on Saturday. So the Sunday walk was curtailed by that and we stuck to the tarmac edge of the road. I walk nearly daily, mostly rough tracks, and so far my Lowas are my best friend. I have a pair of hiking boots ( which are like clouds on my feet) but they get a bit warm at this time of the year. Yeah I am a happy customer as my Lowas get me going....
