A couple of smaller points:
For kiln dried firewood the packaging should always include a top surface cover as our logs gained water while we unloaded in the rain.
Sometimes the carrier expresses surprise and annoyance because we live in a narrow terraced street. These streets are not uncommon and it would be helpful if the courier could be briefed in advance.
