Just ordered an axminster 305 wtl after a lot of research and I have got to say top marks the lathe came 2 days later unfortunately there was some damage when it was set up but the staff at axminster were brilliant and fast in sorting it out. the lathe itself is far better than I thought it was going to be when running it is so quiet compared to my other lathe the variable speed makes it exceptional and for the price its a real bargain the live centres etc are of great quality and really smooth the little fitted tool rest is also a bonus everything runs really smooth and stands solid on my worktop and it is not bolted down top marks all round
