Bought a low wattage kettle. The plastic kettle works fine but has a smell on the inside which a lot of new plastic products have, especially from China. Despite being used for many weeks now the smell doesn't seem to dissipate and effects the taste of brewed tea. The only way to reduce the smell is to rinse the kettle before use and use filtered water.
